Jake and Elwood Blues want to reform their rhythm'n'blues group and give concerts in order to earn the 5,000 dollars necessary for the survival of the orphanage of their childhood, threatened with closure by the tax authorities. Their project promises to be difficult to achieve. Pursued by the police, a band of neo-Nazis, musicians and a mysterious woman, animated by a tenacious grudge, the Blues Brothers find themselves embroiled in adventures more incredible than the others.
